Photography 101: the Weir and Bridges of Bagni Di Lucca
Hi photographers,
We are arriving at the end of autumn and the colorful days are changing into misty magical winter.
We are going to explore a beautiful Bagni di Lucca, although famous for its 'terme'. Although it is tempting, this time we are not soaking in the water, but taking photos along the Lima river of its weir and bridges.
One of its famous bridges is 'Ponte della Maddalena' which is also called 'Ponte del Diavolo' due to its remarkable medieval engineering.
It will be a city walk, however we will walk in 'photographer pace', aka. walking fast while lugging your camera and gears, then stop to take numerous photos, and repeat.
To properly take photos of the weir, it is recommended to bring a tripod.
We are making effort to car-pool, however currently the availability is quite limited. It will be highly appreciated if you can come with your own transportation, or even better if you can offer seats to others. Please contact me with regards to the transport.
In case of adverse weather, we will update the registered participants ASAP.
