The Culture and Art of Curling
Hello, Arts & Culture folk.
This list will close Friday morning so that I can make our reservation. If you click "ATTEND," please honour your commitment and be there on time. If, however, you click and then are unable to be there, please click on "Cancel attendance" at the top of the page by Friday morning.
Did you marvel at what has been called "chess on ice" during the PyeongChang Protected content Olympics where Canada won gold in mixed doubles? Ever wanted to throw a rock without breaking anything? Now is your chance to experience what other Canadians have.
Instruction and equipment will be provided. Wear a jacket and clean running shoes.
After finishing up on the ice, the curling culture continues with socializing and drinks in the curling lounge. (The curling is free, but you pay for your own drinks.)
For those using transit, I can give people a ride from the Lansdowne Skytrain station on the Canada Line (in Richmond). Just put a message below in the COMMENTS section.
