Take a Walk on the Art Side - West of Main

Join us in celebrating Artists in our Midst on Vancouver's West side community...on a studio walking tour...providing a unique opportunity to connect directly with artists in this area.

From Point Grey to Main Street & from Granville Island to 41st Avenue in Vancouver - explore & engage with close to 70 artists of all genres: painters, sculptors, potters, jewelers, mixed media, fibre, textile, photographers. Lets visit together at least a handful of them, since it's impossible to visit all of them in one day.

The presenter is 'Artists in Our Midst,' the longest continuously running artists collective in Vancouver.

Founded in Protected content artists A. Adams & P. Granirer. Inspired by a similar event, while living in Paris, Granirer worked with Adams to design a similar opportunity in her community in Vancouver.

In addition to the Art Walk, if u happen to buy something valued at $50.++ it will go twds the
"Art For All Fundraiser",enabling art supplies for the Coast Mental Health free art programs.

The Artists collective also gives free public art talks & exhibits through their volunteer art residencies & artists programs at Lord Byng Mini School for the Arts. They're also supported by merchants who showcase their art, as well as by local donors.

Our route will start around
W 14th Ave, & finish around W 4th Ave.

- dress in layers
- bring some cash /credit/debit card (in case u decide to buy)
- bring a drink/snack on the go
