The tour will explore her creative process and hear the stories behind her works. At this intimate gathering, Katerina will walk with the guests through the gallery, looking closely at the artworks in her solo show, Mostly Blues, currently on view at Protected content
.. She will be sharing the stories behind the pieces, discussing her creative process, and answering any questions the guests have about her work.
The exhibition Mostly Blues presents mainly works on paper and from paper, the artist’s favorite material, including Morning Blues, Twittering Machine – a series of large-scale drawings on the traditional Japanese Sekishu paper; and Tsunami – a series created by using the process of hand papermaking, done in collaboration with the organization Dieu Donné in Brooklyn. The artist will also discuss in more detail her artist's books and the process of making fine art prints, showing a selection of materials and tools she used in the process of creating the works on view.
