From Serendipity to Infinity...
... or how the discovery of roman ruins changed life of one small town and many generations to come...
In Protected content , the engineer Léonard Gianadda discovered the remains of a Gallo-Roman temple on a plot of land he owned. He decided to set up a foundation that would preserve the memory of his beloved late brother Pierre.
And from this time we have the possibility to discover all types of beautiful expositions and concerts that can enrich culturally not only our lifes but Fondation Gianadda was created a rich cultural hub in a heart of Valais mountains in Martigny.
Dear friends I would like to invite you to the exposition of the famous Swiss 19th century painter Albert Anker who will show you how Swiss society looked like in his time through his artistic vision that's unique and highly appreciated.
There is a train from Lausanne arriving to Martigny at 10h42- walkable distance to the Fondation.
And after this culture delight we will invite you for deep dive inside the Swiss culinary tradition and you're invited to join us for a delicious lunch to appreciate fully the taste of Valais in this restaurant ( not only steaks, but also vegetarian options ):
As usual, please confirm your Restaurant attendance as we book table for us!
Thank you. :)
