Chinese-Lunar New Year Parade

The Lunar New Year, commonly known as Chinese New Year, takes place this year on January 22, Protected content . We celebrate the arrival of the year of the Water Rabbit which symbolizes vigilance and skill.
For the occasion, Paris takes part in the festivities: certain districts display traditional decorations, restaurants are busy preparing special menus while events are multiplying in the capital.
On the side of this district, a colorful parade awaits us this Monday, January 23, Protected content . A big entertainment that highlights Asian traditions and folklore while lions, lanterns and dragons take over these Parisian streets in a swirl of shimmering colors. For the occasion, around thirty artists take over this district with their colorful characters and percussionists to give even more rhythm to this parade.
