25th Flamenco Festival - Sara Baras and Flamenco Class
For 25 years, the Flamenco Festival at City Center has been a bridge between Spain’s most passionate art form and the city that never sleeps. This landmark edition celebrates the centuries-old love story between New York and flamenco—a relationship that has shaped stages, inspired generations, and fueled a deep artistic exchange—with an incredible two-week lineup of legends and rising stars direct from Spain.
Olivier Award winner Sara Baras returns to City Center with Vuela (“fly”), a cinematic journey in four acts that pays tribute to the great flamenco guitarist Paco de Lucía. Celebrated for her lightning-fast footwork, intricate movements, and commanding stage presence, Baras is renowned for choreography that brings exceptional power and intensity to every performance.
