"Let’s Talk About It" an Evening Focused on Cuba

At Protected content , the event series "Let’s Talk About It" presents an evening focused on the situation in Cuba. What is currently happening in Cuba, and what does the mounting pressure from the United States mean for the people living there? During this edition of "Let’s Talk About It," we will be in conversation with journalist Bram Vermeulen and director Stefanie de Brouwer—the creators of the new three-part VPRO series *Frontlinie – Cuba: de prooi* ("Frontline – Cuba: The Prey"). We will screen excerpts from the series and continue the discussion with Yuribert Capetillo Hardy, a Cuban-Dutch filmmaker and cinematographer born in Havana and now based in the Netherlands. Having experienced Cuba from the inside, Yuri previously returned to his homeland for the VPRO series *Cuba na Castro* ("Cuba After Castro"). The evening will also feature music and Cuban food, should you wish to join us for a complete night out.
