The Spectacle of Flowering Camellias
one of the distinctive signs of spring arrival is flowering and we'll have a wonderful display by visiting he suggestive village of Sant'Andrea in Compito, where the annual camellias exhibition takes place.
The ring route will start from the old village up to the ridge, to get to Sasso di Balloccioro, a spur or rocks from where we'll enjoy an amazing view. After an outdoor lunch, we'll get back in town and visit the exhibition and see how camellias are cultivated, as well as watching a Japanese-style tea ceremony.

COMPULSORY equipment for the activity is the following:
face mask and Green Pass to comply with Covid rules, trekking shoes, water 1.5L minimum.
Trekking poles, suitable dressing for the season, hand sanitizer.
Pls consider using your own mean of transportation to reach the meeting point; I'd be really grateful if you can offer seats to other participants!
According to current rules, no more than 3 people are allowed in one car, all wearing an FFP2 mask.
Carpooling will be therefore attempted but seats for everybody cannot be guaranteed!
Green Pass is a law requirement for indoor sites and a safety guarantee for car passengers, if you don’t have it pls send me a private message to settle.
