Up and down Along Mugnone River
The Mugnone is an ancient river that rises in the hills north of Florence (Fiesole), and today, after undergoing many diversions, flows into the Arno river near the Cascine Park. (it once flowed under the Ponte Vecchio).
Boccaccio set some of his stories from the Decameron along this river. Protected content will follow a portion of the Mugnone's course, populated by egrets, kingfishers, mallards, night herons, white herons, grey herons
We will start from Via Vittorio Emanuele II 64, making a circular route.
Registration is mandatory by following this procedure:
as soon as possible send an email to " Protected content specifying:
1)name of the tour and date : "SU E GIU' PER IL MUGNONE" Jan. 24th
2) your name and phone number
Wait for reply (the total number of places is limited)
Only if you receive a positive answer, you can attend this event
The tour is only in Italian language
Difficulty level: easy about 5 km
Actual travel time approximately: 3/4 hours
Recommended gear: trainers sneakers, camera, water
