The Water Paths: the Best Way to Inaugurate Spring

this excursion will be an immersion in the forest, in its silences broken only by the singing of birds and the flow of water, a slow-paced walk, across fords, along paths and ancient routes of communication, in a territory known for places of ancient hermit vocation.
The circular itinerary, starting from Ponte a Enna, will let us discover the Forest of Sant’Antonio, a protected area that occupies the southwestern portion of the Pratomagno range, separating the basins of the upper Valdarno and Casentino, close to Reggello (FI): a suggestive, wild environment, characterized by steep slopes, rocky jumps and deep gullies that carry the impetuous waters of the mountain streams downstream.
