Even though it’s not a topic related to the Latin American culture group, it’s a great movie, and it’s still a chance for another group activity for anyone who wants to join us. *Persepolis* is a Protected content film directed by Marjane Satrapi and Vincent Paronnaud, based on the autobiographical graphic novel of the same name. It tells the story of Marjane’s upbringing in Iran during the Islamic Revolution and the Iran-Iraq War. With a simple yet powerful style, it explores themes such as identity, family, and human rights.
