Monschau Christmas Market
Just two hours from Brussels lies Monschau, a fairytale town where cobblestones, half-timbered houses, and the scent of mulled wine come together at one of Germany’s most charming Christmas Markets. But beyond the festive lights, Monschau is also a frontier place - shaped by the clash and coexistence of Catholics and Protestants, merchants and craftsmen, tradition and change.
Our day trip blends the festive with the historical: you can either take a hike through the Eifel hills overlooking the valley or join a guided tour to uncover Monschau’s story. From the rise of the textile industry to the tension between religious identities, Monschau tells the tale of a Europe in transition.

🎄 Monschau isn’t just a Christmas postcard - it’s a town where religion, class, and commerce intersected, leaving behind streets that glow with both history and festivity.
