The Giants Tomb and Panoramas Around Bouillon

This beautiful hike is 13.2Km and starts in Bouillon, at Notre-Dame Abbey. It follows the Semois River to the famous view point Tomb of the Giants in Botassart. Along the way we will see breathtaking views of the Semois river and the historic village of Bouillon.
Views don't come without elevation - so please note that the route has a lot of elevation change (up to 512m), and can be challenging so good fitness and hiking shoes are required, if you have hiking sticks - I advise you bring them.
Bring water and a snack for picnic lunch along the route.
Meeting point is approx 150km from Brussels - 2hr drive - but so worth it :-) I am counting about 5hrs for the hike with time for climbs, admiring the view and stops. Consider this a whole day activity.
Carpooling encouraged, so please post if you are able to offer a ride.
Organization of this activity is voluntary, whilst we look out for each other, you are responsible for your own safety and wellbeing on the hike.
