"Inspired lunacy" according to "Time Out"[1]
"Tokyo Drifter, like many of Suzuki's films, transforms a standard gangster film plot into a vehicle for his own loopy brand of filmmaking, featuring gorgeous cinematography, unconventional storytelling techniques, and a dark sense of humor. " says Rotten Tomatos[2]

Probably we can put this movie in the "challenging" category because it's seems to be very different from what we are used to see. Although not for everyone, watching something outside our comfort zone can be a rewarding experience.

Let's meet at the lobby of Deutsches Filminstitut (dff) on Sunday at 17:30. It's a short movie, with only 83 minutes, it will finish early enough for a few drinks afterwards to recover ourselves.

>> The movie will be in Japanese with *German* subtitles. <<
