“Mondes Flottants” Exhibition: an Unique Visit Part 2
Immerse yourself in the soul of ink and Japanese watercolors with the artist
I invite you to meet Anne Ruthmann, a French watercolor artist inspired by Japanese techniques. She will give us a private tour of her exhibition dedicated to Japanese ink and watercolor works.
During this special encounter, the artist will open the doors of her universe — a world of delicate lines, fluid gestures, and meditative depth inspired by traditional Japanese media and techniques.
She will explain Japanese watercolor (gansai), ink monoprints and her homemade Washi ( Japanese paper sheets made from vegetable fibers suspended in water and displayed on a frame with sieve).
This visit is also an unique invitation to exchange — a dialogue between the artist and all of us, Japan lovers, an opportunity to enter into paintings with Anne ‘s artistic process.
We will have a quick meal at Okome (Part 1) beforehand for this event (Part 2).
