This comedy will bring back memories of Tora San's delicacy and humanity for fans of the series !

Created by Jûzô Yamasaki and Ken'ichi Kitami in Protected content , the comedy duo Hama-chan and Sû-san from the manga "Tsuribaka Nisshi" (Chronicle of two fishing enthusiasts) won over audiences thanks to the friendly relationship between the office worker and his boss. In Protected content , Yôji Yamada, director of the Tora-san, wrote the screenplay which was entrusted to Tomio Kuriyama behind the camera.

Fishing enthusiast himself, Yamada was able to draw from this comic a story that highlights his passion and human relationships.

The film focuses on salaryman Densuke Hamasaki (a.k.a. Hama-chan), whom his supervisor Sasaki has dubbed the "Fishing Baka" because of his passion for fishing.
