Sû-san and Hama-chan are fishing off the coast of Izu with Yukiko, the daughter of a childhood friend of Suzuki’s, whom the mischievous Hamasaki nicknames ‘the boss’s secret daughter’. Speaking of children, Hamasaki can’t wait to become a dad. He’s already thinking of fish-themed names for his future offspring, at any rate.

Hama-chan has just had a baby boy, whom he decides to name Koitarô (meaning ‘little carp’). This episode is famous for its stunning shots of the landscapes of Yura (Wakayama Prefecture), which blend perfectly with the deeply moving scenes in which Hama-chan, now a father, is overjoyed.
