Japanese Movie at the Embassy: Get Your Last Minute Opportunity!
The Asian Film Festival is ready to start, and the Japan Embassy offers the priceless opportunity to watch a very delicious movie about the price to pay for having success at work!
"Love on Trial" is set in the world of J-Pop and idols, and tells the story of a romance that must be defended in court. The protagonists of the story, inspired by a true story, are Mai Yamaoka, a singer in the group ‘Happy Fanfare’, and Kei, a young street performer: their love is hindered by the contractual obligations binding Mai to her management agency, highlighting the complex web of relationships between idols, the public and agencies capable of controlling both public and private lives of singers to launch into the lucrative music industry.
Seats are very limited, so hurry up to sign in and not lose this great movie! And by the way, after the movie there will be the opportunity to ask questions to the movie director: Fukada Kōji.
