Movie at the Open-Air Cinema
A nice thing to do in the summer in Modena is to go to watch a movie at the open-air cinema. On Thursday 7th August, the open-air cinema in Piazza Panini is showing, in its original language, the film "Ainda estou aqui" by Walter Salles. At this year’s Oscars the film was nominated for Best Actress and Best Picture, and won Best International Feature Film, becoming the first Brazilian-produced film to win an Academy Award. Wow! So a film in portuguese with Italian subtitles... The film commences at 21:15 but we should arrive beforehand.
Hopefully we shall have a warm evening and spend an interesting time together, enjoying a critically acclaimed film and those typical movie time snacks too!
