Via Mattiacorum: Hike the Roman Road / 27 Km, 8 H, Hills
You might have heard of the Limes, the Roman border that ran through most of Europe. One part of that was right near here in the Taunus hills - and the hiking trail Via Mattiacorum passes some of it. And of course there is Roman history in Wiesbaden as well - learn more about that on this hike. See the trail here: Protected content
As this leads through the Taunus, you can expect hills. The hike will be an all day activity - please bring enough water and snacks. After the hike we can find a place to have dinner in Wiesbaden.
