“Deliriyum’” Modern Dance
Modern dance artist and choreographer Canberk Yıldız explores the impact of digitalization and social media on the human body in his work titled "Delirium." Questioning how the digital realm alters our identity and modes of thought, the piece traces a transformation—from a human who thinks and speaks, to one who observes and speaks, and ultimately toward a form of "programmed" human—all articulated through the intricate movement language of contemporary dance. Taking its name from the medical term "delirium"—a condition that, from a cultural perspective, has been associated with schizophrenia—the work examines how the digital world reshapes our sense of self and our perception of reality.
