Oman Budget Friendly Weekend Adventure
Trade your usual weekend for turquoise pools, cool canyon air, ancient souqs, and seaside dinners — all wrapped into one easy, family-friendly escape to Oman.
This Oman Water Weekend is designed for beginners, first-timers, and families with kids who want adventure without pressure. We start early from Dubai and cross into Oman, where nature quickly takes over. Our first stop is Wadi Al-Huqayn, known for its gentle sulfur pools, warm cascades, and calm swims. The pace is relaxed, the water is inviting, and it’s perfect for children and adults alike.
From there, we continue to Muscat for hotel check-in, lunch, and a stroll through the iconic Mutrah Souq — silver, frankincense, and handmade treasures everywhere you look. As the sun sets, we enjoy dinner by the sea at Al-Qurm Corniche, then rest up for the night.
Sunday takes us into the lush valleys of Wadi Tiwi. With a local guide, we drive up to the hidden village of Mibam and explore a series of emerald pools — swimming, light jumps, and wandering through nature at an easy, enjoyable pace. After a local lunch in the village, we head back to Dubai, relaxed minds, and memories that last far longer than the weekend.
