The Düsseldorf France Festival 2026

This will be the 24th edition of the France festival which takes place every summer on the other side of the Rhine - seen from the Cologne perspective, that means: not anywhere beyond the border, but in Düsseldorf!

Short before the French National Day which is on 14th July, the famous Rheinuferpromenade will turn into a big open air market, where exhibitors from all over France show the delicacies and products that the country has to offer: a great variety of wines and cheeses to name the most obvious, seafood specialties such as oysters, but also handycrafts and textiles. Besides, an Oldtimer show takes place here every year and different music bands make for the final touch.

This year the festival will be held from 3rd to 5th July and we'll meet there on Saturday 4th July.

General entrance is free, except for the music shows that take place in the Town Hall's backyard/Rathaus-Innenhof (infos to be shared in due time). But of course everyone pays for what they buy and consume.
