Hidden Vienna Walk: Schloss Neugebäude to Böhmischer Prater
Join us this Saturday for a varied urban adventure through some of southeastern Vienna’s lesser-known places! 🍂🥾
Starting at U3 Simmering, we’ll walk toward the historic Schloss Neugebäude before continuing through the impressive Zentralfriedhof. From there, our route takes us toward Oberlaa, through the green surroundings of Löwygrube and finally to the nostalgic Böhmischer Prater.
This approximately 10.7 km route combines history, nature and hidden corners of Vienna. It is mostly flat, with only a gentle climb toward the end.
After the walk, anyone interested can join us for an optional late lunch, drinks or coffee at the Böhmischer Prater. Food and drinks will be paid for individually.

WALKING TIME: Around 3–3.5 hours, plus short breaks
COST: Free; please bring a valid public-transport ticket and money for optional refreshments
Please wear comfortable walking shoes and bring water, a snack and warm, weather-appropriate clothing.
