This is a beautiful hike through many native plants including Redwoods, Coast Live Oaks, Madrones, and California Bay Laurels; you can often hear Woodpeckers, Sparrows and Robins; you might see deer, and horses also share the trail and have the right of way. Dogs are not allowed in this park. It can be drizzly and cold especially in the shaded areas; or hot/sunny in open areas; consider layers and hats/sunglasses can be useful).
