Dear photography enthusiasts,

We are happy to invite you to a special evening dedicated to World Expos in Japan, featuring a lecture and exhibition connected to the upcoming Expo Protected content . I have been there myself - and it has been amazing!

The speakers, Dr. Thomas Schriefers (architect, curator, illustrator) and Dr. Cordula Fink (dramaturge, curator), will explore the fascinating history of Japan’s World Expositions—from Osaka Protected content Aichi Protected content the forthcoming Osaka Protected content . Reflecting on themes such as vision, communication, sustainability, and cultural exchange, they will discuss how these global events have shaped architectural, social, and artistic innovation.

Through selected examples and visual impressions, the lecture will highlight how Expos create unique spaces of encounter—where the world meets, ideas connect, and diversity becomes unity.
