Dance & Resist - A Folkmusik Concert and Dancehouse
The Young Palatca Band performs authentic folk and traditional string music from the Mezőség region of Transylvania in Romania.
The musicians come from the historic, multi-ethnic village of Pălatca, Transylvania. They perform traditional Hungarian, Romanian and Romani folk music, often playing at dance houses.
In the evening, they will give a concert, after which the Hajnali Dance Group will arrange a dance house where you can learn some Hungarian folk dances.
The Hajnali group rehearses every Friday in the Kulturladen, so if you like, you can join the group.
