Stories From Brazil: Photography, Culture & a Sunset Photowalk
Join us for a summer evening by the Hudson River, where great conversations, new connections, and beautiful views come together.
We’ll begin with a relaxed gathering in Riverside Park, one of New York City’s most scenic waterfront spaces. As the golden light of sunset fills the riverfront, we’ll enjoy conversation, cultural exchange, and the chance to meet fellow internationals from around the world.
Whether you enjoy photography, travel, culture, storytelling, or simply discovering the city with interesting people, this is a wonderful opportunity to connect and experience New York from a fresh perspective.
As the sun begins to set, we’ll take a leisurely photowalk along the Hudson River, exploring the park and observing the moments, scenes, and changing light that make the city memorable.
Throughout the evening, we’ll talk about photography, creativity, visual storytelling, and the art of seeing. Feel free to ask questions, exchange ideas, or simply enjoy the walk.
I’ll also share stories from more than three decades documenting Indigenous peoples and traditional communities across Brazil, and how photography can help us better understand cultures, places, and people.
This is not a technical workshop or photography class. The goal is to enjoy New York, meet interesting people, exchange perspectives, and spend an inspiring evening together.
Bring a camera, use your smartphone, or simply come as you are. Everyone is welcome.
