(Unknown) Georgia

Let us discover some of Georgia`s lesser known grapes together. You will get the "classics," Orange Wine and Saperavi, of course made in the traditional Quevri (amphora wine), most famously from the Kacheti region. Then we will try some "weird" grapes, all red, from small producers and boutique wineries. (Please note, I love red wine and do not include white wines apart from orange ones, nor the semi-sweet wines Georgia is also famous for..that little country has just so much diversity concering wine!) There will be a presentation to get an idea of where the wine is coming from, Georgia has spectacular landscapes.. We will have a barbecue together, bring what you want to see on the grill or on your plate and more to share.... Please do not sign up if you are not sure (just to reserve a spot) or cancel on time, the times when Georgian wine was cheap has long since gone ... and I have expenses and want to keep this event small.
