BALAGAN CAFE - XIV Edition
Focus: Love, Legacy, and Dialogue in the Heart of Florence
An exceptional evening of culture, conversation, and performance as the Florence Jewish Community presents the 14th edition of Balagan Cafe. This year's central theme, inspired by the profound verse "Love is as strong as death," explores the powerful intersection of love as a responsibility, memory, and a tool for dialogue. For our public speaking community, this event provides a masterclass in engaging, multi-faceted communication.
Hosted in the historic Great Synagogue Garden, the evening unfolds in four captivating acts:
19: Protected content Open
19: Protected content Talk (Balacast Live): Witness the art of dynamic conversational speaking with a live podcast. David Pacifici hosts an engaging discussion on current affairs and culture, demonstrating how to weave complex themes into accessible dialogue.
20: Protected content Rav Gadi Piperno takes the stage for a compelling talk, "THE SONG OF SONGS: Between Human Love and Divine Love." Experience the power of storytelling and rhetorical analysis applied to sacred texts.
21: Protected content Music (Quintetto Abima): Davide Casali and his quintet present a concert of classic Jewish music for clarinet and string quartet. Observe how music itself serves as a non-verbal yet deeply communicative language.
This immersive event is a unique opportunity to study public communication, cultural synthesis, and narrative power while enjoying kosher food and music.
