Savings & Investements Union: Where Are We Now?

Dear friends and members,

This event aims to discuss the Savings and Investments Union, highlighting both the progress made so far and the most significant obstacles to its implementation.

Special attention will be given to the benefits of adopting specific financial integration measures, the new role that could be played by some EU agencies -such as ESMA- and the issues addressed by heads of state and government during the meeting on the single market held on February 12.

The discussion will begin with an introductory speech by President Enrico Letta and will involve academics and representatives from European institutions.
