The Digital Euro and European Sovereignty

Dear friends and members,

The digital euro project has gained significant momentum in recent months.

If the relevant EU regulation is approved by the end of this year, an initial issuance of the digital euro could take place in Protected content .

The European Central Bank (ECB) has stated that it is ready for this deadline.

In this meeting and discussion with Piero Cipollone, member of the ECB’s Executive Board and Chair of the Digital Euro Task Force – we will discuss the current state of the project’s implementation, its future development and its impact on the European economy.
