Bai Kamara Jr. & the Voodoo Sniffers at Senghor in Etterbeek

Three years after the international success of his first blues album "Salone" in Protected content , Bai Kamara Jr is back with "Traveling Medicine Man", his new opus, sprinkled with afro-blues compositions, delivered in his singular style. In descriptive, provocative and sometimes suggestive ways, the stories of love, life, relationships, politics and innuendo are meticulously explored by the storyteller. "Traveling Medicine Man" is the continuation of his introspective journey through his roots and his perpetual quest to make his two homes, Africa and Europe, coexist in him. For the making of this album, Bai brought his band, The Voodoo Sniffers, into the studio; these exceptional musicians have contributed to Bai's unique and ever-changing style. With percussion at the heart of the arrangements, this rootsy blues is spiced up with an afro atmosphere that will make you want to get up and dance!
Bai Kamara Jr., son of the former Sierra Leonean ambassadress in Belgium, who grew up in the United Kingdom and has lived in Brussels for over 25 years, is a committed singer-songwriter who reveals his African origins in his music.
