Intersectionality: Embracing Our Full Identities
You are invited to a special evening dedicated to the power of showing up as our whole selves. Hosted at Urban Vegan Roots, this gathering will bring together speakers, performers, and facilitated group conversations to explore how our overlapping identities shape our lived experiences—and our impact.
Through personal storytelling, artistic expression, and guided dialogue, the evening will examine how these multidimensional identities influence how we show up in our work, activism, and everyday lives.
Speakers and performers include:
- Phoenix Ríszing is a Multidisciplinary Artist, Author, Luminary, Spiritual Practitioner, Public Speaker, and Global Unity/Liberation Advocate from the South Bronx. Phoenix's mission is deeply centered around global unity, collective healing, and liberation for all.
- Diana "Big Mama" is a Healing Arts & Wellness Facilitator who's career & business centers around education, coaching, activism. She injects love and empathy into community she interacts with.
- The Repressions are a playful, emotive indie music duo with songs that make it safe to express emotions related to mental health issues of all kinds.
