I thought it was never gonna happen!
But I was wrong!

The exhibition of a lifetime: Raphael at the Met!
And...this is not a traveling exhibition.

New York is the only city honored to host a comprehensive exhibition of a person who lived 37 years and left a mark on this world and in our history that will last forever...

This is the first comprehensive exhibition on Raphael in the United States, bringing together more than Protected content the artist’s greatest masterpieces.

To underscore the range of his genius, this presentation brings together important drawings, paintings, and tapestries from public and private collections across Europe and the United States, many of which have never been shown together.

AFTERWARD...

A relaxing walk in the park, which of course makes a stop at the Conservatory Gardens mandatory, alongside the Meer and ending at the northwest end of the park.

We might choose to stop at Purple Waves for a coffee or a glass of wine.
