A Less Know Way to Enjoy the Season
Let's take in the colors of fall with this walk rich in architecture, culture nature.
We will:
Visit Wave Hill following an unusual pathway among the most luxurious homes in Riverdale,
Spend some time in the precious grounds, which in this season are just about marvelous.
Check out the current exhibitions.
Admire a wonderful view of the Hudson River while sipping an iced coffee, comfortably sitting at the large patio of the cafe.
Make our way back through Riverdale Park, which is probably the least known of our parks and yet a marvelous little stretch of woods next to the Hudson River.
BE ALERTED!!
While this is an easy 4/5 miles walk, Riverdale is not built on a flat terrain. Streets go up and down.
Please wear appropriate shoes.
