Fall in Love With History 🍂Th. Roosevelt's Summer White House
America Protected content !
Join me for a tour and exploration of the iconic "Summer White House"... prolonging the summer into fall! As America commemorates its 250th anniversary, join us at Sagamore Hill to explore the life, leadership and legacy of Theodore Roosevelt, the 26th President of the United States.
#1 Tour Choice: Our experience includes an approximately 45-minute guided tour of Roosevelt’s historic family home—known during his presidency as the “Summer White House.” We will step inside the rooms where Roosevelt lived, worked, welcomed international guests and made decisions that influenced America’s growing role in the world. (IF WE GET TICKETS!)
#2 Tour Choice: Unable to secure one of the limited tickets for the Theodore Roosevelt Home? Don’t worry—we still have a lot to explore! Sagamore Hill is still absolutely worth visiting! For example, the beautiful historic grounds, take photographs and relax on the home’s peaceful front porch, where rocking chairs invite you to slow down and enjoy the lovely view.
We can also visit the Old Orchard Museum and Visitor Center, which is free to enter and features three exhibit rooms devoted to Theodore Roosevelt, his family and the history of Sagamore Hill. Informational signs throughout the property help bring the site’s stories to life.
Come for the history, stay for the rocking chairs—and perhaps imagine yourself making presidential decisions from the porch! 🏡🌳
