Let's lend a helping hand to refugee kids at École Maximilien!
During this month's activity we will be able to engage with one of the best-known grassroots movement in Brussels which is La Plateforme Citoyenne de Soutien aux Réfugiés (Citizens’ Platform for Refugee Support).
On the 25th of August, the Platform will welcome us in the Maximilien hall that houses the École Maximilien. This school provides support to refugee children between the ages of 1 and 14, thus French is not a requirement and all languages are welcome! Most of the activities involve drawing and playing games.
The children start to arrive at the school around 14.00. In the meantime, we can also prepare the classroom and activities for the kids, help out in the library or check out the Cybermax course that teaches ICT skills to refugees.
If you have any additional questions or concerns, please send either me or Magda (the co-host) a message. You can also reach me at Protected content .
Come along and get your game on!
