Saturday of VANGUARD ART!
Art doesn't always strive to be "pretty"; sometimes it's born out of an absolute necessity for survival. You can experience this in *Unloving Love*, the solo exhibition by British artist Penny Goring that has just arrived at the Colegio de San Ildefonso.
Through Protected content ranging from paintings and collages to poems, videos, and textile "comfort dolls," it's an exhibition that holds nothing back. One of the most poignant sections is the *Amelia* series, dedicated to her deceased former lover, a space where pain transforms into a mythology of tenderness and cruelty.
Open your senses to art and let's enjoy a different kind of Saturday in the heart of Mexico City's Historic Center. A VR art experience will also be available at the end of the exhibition for those who wish.
