LDV COOK TOGETHER! Our First Destination: Rome (of Course!)

For the very first Cook Together, I'm opening my home kitchen for an evening of cooking, eating, drinking and having fun around the table.

This isn't a cooking class. There won't be a professional chef showing us how it's done, and it's not a formal wine tasting.

Instead, we'll roll up our sleeves and cook dinner together. We'll chop, stir, taste, probably get in each other's way occasionally, pour a glass of wine and eventually (hopefully!) enjoy what we've made.

We'll prepare an entirely Roman menu, accompanied by a selection of wines produced in Lazio, the region surrounding Rome.

The idea isn't to master perfect technique or produce a restaurant-perfect dish, but to discover traditions through food and wine by cooking and sharing them together.

No particular cooking skills are required. Whether you're a confident home cook or more comfortable being in charge of quality control, we'll find you a job! 😉
