Make sure to bring:
Sturdy hiking boots with good grip (no trainers/sneakers)
Snacks for on the go
Sufficient drinking water
Sunscreen
Raingear (just in case)
Trekking poles if desired
Even though we will generally be working our way down to a lower elevation, the ridge rises and falls, so our total elevation gain during this 6.5 to 7 hour hike is over Protected content . We will likely have groups moving at different speeds, so note that there is a B Protected content leaving Gfellen at 16:30, another at 17:06, and the final bus of the day at 18:30. Once we reach the Entlebuch station, there is a train to Luzern every 30 minutes. If you miss the bus, it is not the end of the world - just another 1.5 hours to walk to the Entlebuch train station!
