Fabergé Eggs: Peter Carl Fabergé & The Russian Imperial Family

I have received some requests for this, so I shall be hosting this event again.
In Protected content Alexander III, through an intermediary, commissioned an Easter egg from Fabergé as an Easter present for his wife, the Tsarina Maria Feodorovna. It was supposed to be a one-time thing.
However, between Protected content 1916, Fabergé created no less than 50 Imperial Easter eggs for the Romanovs. Indeed, the relationship between these two Houses led to sublime, artistic creations that remain emblematic of Imperial Russia to this day.
We will chronicle the fascinating story of the special relationship between this master jeweler and the Romanovs, which finally ended with the Russian Revolution in Protected content . We will also recount the stories behind each one of the 50 eggs.
