Hannibal Barca, Rome’s Greatest Enemy (2) - Rumble in Po Valley

A great general and a masterful tactician, Hannibal Barca is widely considered one of finest military geniuses in history.
Throughout most of the third century BCE, Rome was engaged in a series of struggles with another powerful Mediterranean state — Carthage.
The most brutal of those conflicts — the Second Punic War — put Rome in the greatest danger it ever faced. In this event we will illustrate the rise of Hannibal to be the commander-in-chief of the Cathaginian Army in that war and his journey crossing the Alps to reach the Po Valley.
