Techno-Feudalism: Reality or Illusion?

We here examine the concept of 'techno-feudalism' as conceived by Greek economist Yanis Varoufakis, that purports to identify and explain a brand new age of tyranny we are entering, allegedly dominated by feudal-rentier digitalised demenses that have 'replaced capitalism'. Techno-feudalism has become a trendy buzz word in the context of politics and the social sciences worldwide and has many adherents, but what if this theory is only drawing profoundities from superstuctural superficialties?
