New Georgian π¬πͺ Restaurant!
A brand-new Georgian restaurant has just opened in Regensburg's old town, and I've been dreaming about eating dinner with a side of khachapuri π§π· ever since I heard the rave reviews! Georgian food is pure comfort: steaming dumplings you eat with your hands (khinkali, and yes, there's a right way to do it, so we'll learn together, or just make a delicious mess), cheesy bread boats topped with a runny egg, walnut-stuffed eggplant rolls, sizzling shashlik, and garlicky chicken that you'll want to mop up with fresh bread.
And the wine! Georgians have been making it for around 8,000 years, so they've had time to get good at it. We'll raise a glass (or three) of crisp Georgian white or rosΓ©, and if anyone's feeling brave, there's chacha, the local grape brandy, to finish. π₯
Everything is cooked fresh, so we'll have a leisurely evening of sharing plates, good conversation and plenty of laughing. Vegetarians and vegans are well looked after too!
Come hungry. Seriously. Say yes and bring your appetite!
