Ayano Otani the Art of Japanese Watercolor
Opening of Ayao Mitani's first solo exhibition.
Ayano Otani is a Japanese artist and illustrator born in Tokyo and moved to Milan, where she began holding several workshops dedicated to the use of watercolors according to Japanese techniques, enriched by her personal sensibility. She has collaborated with numerous publishing houses and published over 15 books, both as an author of children's books and as an illustrator of books on Japanese culture. The exhibition will feature original watercolors dedicated to her most beloved pet, the cat, along with original drawings from her illustrated books.
During the exhibition, the artist will also perform a live drawing demonstration to introduce her painting technique and will be available to answer questions from attendees.
