Refracted Words: Free Contemporary Japanese Art Exhibition
Let's discover a new pop up gallery in Milan that will start the activity with an exhibition on japanese contemporary art: "Refracted Worlds. Contemporary Japan Through Multiple Lenses"! Kohei Nawa, Yukie Ishikawa, Kenjiro Okazaki, Mr., Ayako Rokkaku, Yuji Ueda, Noritaka Tatehana and the collective Chim↑Pom from Smappa!Group will be the artists you can find and they can show differents visions.
Using inks and pigments, canvases and papers, but also ceramics, contemporary materials and technologies, they explore the surface, light and refraction in a kaleidoscope of works, ranging from conceptual art to manga, from gesture to pictorial performance, with paint applied directly by hand.
