Come Help Produce Fresh Fruits & Vegetables for Low-Income Areas

Twice a week, Community Services Unlimited (CSU have volunteer work days on their mini urban farm. This farm not only is a learning space but also has provided fresh and organic fruits and vegetables to over 9,000 families in low-income communities (Families, People with Health-Based Concerns, Immigrants, Refugees or Ethnic Groups.
We invite you to join hands on September 30th from 8:45 AM to 12:15 PM help increase produce production by planting, harvesting and weeding, all while learning about food systems.
Requirements: Please wear light colors and clothes and shoes that you don’t mind getting dirty, bring water and snacks if you want them. This is a working farm, children younger than 16 must come with parents/guardian who are responsible for and will supervise them at ALL times. Please wear clothing and shoes appropriate for working on a farm, a sun hat, sun block and bring water to drink
Benefits: Volunteers will be able to experience where their food comes from and learn how to garden it. Protected content
Sometimes due to major events at the stadium they have to cancel. We will inform you if there is a last minute change.
Be sure to bring cash for parking, or arrive early enough to find street parking. Some parking lots also accept credit/debit cards.
