Help Project Angel Food Prepare Meals
Help Project Angel Food prepare and package more than 3,000 meals each day for our seriously ill neighbors!
Please review the following important volunteer guidelines before arriving:
Scheduled volunteers only: Only volunteers who are scheduled in advance will be allowed in the building. We have only six volunteer spaces available, so if you are unable to attend, please cancel your reservation so your space can be given to someone else.
Shoes: Please wear closed-toe, rubber-soled, flat shoes when working in the kitchen. No sandals are permitted.
Clothing: Wear comfortable clothing. No cut-offs, midriff-baring tops, cap sleeves, tank tops, shorts, or skirts. Long pants are required.
Jewelry: Health Department regulations prohibit jewelry on the hands, fingers, and arms. Please leave valuable jewelry at home. Only stud earrings and flat wedding bands are permitted.
Hair coverings: All volunteers must cover their hair. Hairnets will be provided. Hats may be worn over hairnets.
Volunteers under 18: Anyone under 18 must have a liability form signed by a parent or guardian.
Health: If you have a runny nose or cough—even if you believe it is due to allergies—you cannot volunteer.
Parking: A parking lot is available behind the building, but space is limited. Carpooling, rideshare, and public transportation are encouraged. There is ample street parking in the area, but please read all posted signs carefully.
Thank you, and we look forward to supporting this meaningful cause.
